| *Important Notice re Ilen Rovers GAA Summer Cul Camp* | *Important Notice re Ilen Rovers GAA Summer Cul Camp*
In light of recent information disseminated from the Cork County Board in relation to Covid 19 safety protocols required for 2020 CúlCamps, Ilen Rovers GAA Club has reluctantly decided that we will not proceed with this year's CúlCamp. The decision was not taken lightly but the safety of our players, coaches, their families and the wider community is our foremost concern. Whilst necessary, the restrictions which would have been imposed and adhered to would have been extremely challenging for our club and in particular for our coaches to implement and these restrictions most certainly would have taken the fun out of the camp for the children.
For anyone who has already booked online, we have been advised that you will be reimbursed.
We will continue to review Government, HSE and GAA guidelines throughout the summer and if the opportunity presents itself at any stage later in the year, we will consider holding a mini-camp or something similar if deemed safe to do so.

| Sympathy Notice | Ilen Rovers GAA Club regrets to announce the death of Cliffy Minihane, Cunnamore.
The entire club is saddened by the loss of one of the club’s founding members and most ardent supporters. In addition to his central role in the club formation in 1973 and various officer roles, including President and Secretary, Cliffy was also the principal of Kilcoe National School and retired in 2001. Cliffy was also instrumental in the underage success of the club, particularly in the 1980s. It is no coincidence that many of the players coached by Cliffy at underage level were to feature prominently in the later success enjoyed by the club at adult level. Everyone at Ilen Rovers GAA club would like to extend their deepest sympathies to Cliffy’s wife Mary, and to his family Anne Marie, Rose, Claire and to remember his late son, Noel, RIP.
